Harold Radz
1923-2009

One of the most important reasons why I ran for S-G School Board 8 times from 1999 to 2007, winning a majority of votes twice without ever being elected, was to represent the interests of people like Harold, who wanted an excellent education system at reasonable costs. Harold and his wife, Sally, like hundreds of others, supported all of my campaigns. I have not been as diligent as I might have been in expressing my gratitude to the many friends I made during my campaigns. Some have moved out of NY. Some have passed on. All have made the most they could out of their lives though their voices were seldom accepted, if ever heard, by those who through their public powers decided they should have to get by on relatively less so others could have more. God bless Harold, Sally and all the plain people--the stalwarts whose difficult sacrifices for the sake of the public welfare never are recognized as they should be. Happy New Year.
