Welcome to the K12WIKI. The purpose of this wiki is to provide an understanding of the pre-K-12 education system in the United States. Since it is a wiki, the content of this site is wholly dependent on the contributions of those who visit the site. Anyone and everyone can contribute.

Since wikis are an efficient means for providing free knowledge and information, learning how to use a wiki is an important lifelong skill. A few minutes spent with Help:Contents will give you the confidence to create and edit the contents of any site running MediaWiki, which includes this site. Before you contribute, you may want to create an account (see why at Wikipedia). The same benefits apply here.
