Scotia-Glenville School District will provide access to a wide variety of
public records. The Committee
on Open Government issues advisory opinions which public agencies generally
follow in providing access.
You can review the law on access to public records at NY Consolidated Laws by browsing
under the "Public Officers" hyperlink and choosing Article 6-A from the index.
The Freedom of Information Law (FOIL), as it is commonly known, is contained in
section 95. (The site and information were checked on 12 Aug 1999.)
